Vector Structures served as consulting engineers for a project involving the development of two luxury dwellings with scenic views near the sea. Situated into the hillside, both homes necessitated the construction of numerous retaining walls, including a significant 6-meter tall one.

The considerable height of this wall demanded special detailing and design expertise from Vector Structures. Given the ground’s potential risk of radon leakage, careful consideration was given to the design of the basement slab to mitigate any harm to the occupants.

With a focus on making the views accessible, the developer incorporated multiple cantilevered balconies into the design. These balconies, meticulously engineered by Vector Structures, were designed to withstand the elements, aligning with the developer’s vision while ensuring structural durability and safety.
